Maximising Teaching and Learning using Podcasts

Limited places are available for a whole day INSET program specifically aimed at KS2 and KS3 teachers.

During this session you will

  • see how podcasting can be used to creatively engage and empower student learning within the school’s curriculum program and whole school development

  • look at examples of best practice by teachers and students from around London via (www.podcast.bromley.lgfl.net )

  • learn how to use the LGfL Podcast system  that will allow participants to go back and start using podcasting within their teaching program

Program Outline

Session 1

Introduction to Podcasting featuring Bromley’s new online Podcast resource – ‘Podcast Central’

Examples of good practice – ‘How you can use Podcasting to support high quality teaching and learning experiences in schools

Session 2

How to create Podcast content

How to use the LGfL Podcast system

Session 3

Hands on time to explore the LGfL Podcast system and start making Podcast content

Session 4

School follow up sessions. Delegates can make arrangements with LEA ICT Coordinator for further hands on support within their school as part of an ICT Project Adventure. Costs for ICT Project Adventure included  in price.
